Devotional
Compassion was present to cure the sick, raise a widows son from death, opened the eyes of two blind men, cleansed the leper, feed the multitudes, and received the prodigal son. Jesus was constantly being filled with and motivated by compassion. In the story of Lazarus ( John 11) being raised from the dead we see that Jesus was “ deeply moved” in V33, and in V38. True genuine work in the Lords kingdom will be motivated by compassion. Draw closer to the Lord and become more compassionate for others needs. A good place to start is in prayer.
