When Jesus said it is finished, at that very moment there was a new spiritual law established. What John the Baptist had spoken three years prior was established with Jesus' last breath. Now understand this, when there is sin in our life and we confess and turn away from it, we are forgiven. The slate that had your sin written on it is wiped completely clean instantly, “It is finished”.

The lamb who took away the sins of the world is Gods son
No condemnation, no shame left to behold
He demolished sins bondage just as the prophets had foretold
No matter what wrong we have done, God established
"IT IS FINISHED" I love you, this freedom is a gift, you can have it.
The evidence of our sins has been completely washed away
Because of His love for us yesterday and today
and forever.
