Devotion
There are many scriptures that talk about being filled with the Spirit of God. How do we get filled? Well the first thing to do is to get empty of all of the things that crowd God out of our lives. If we want to be full of God, then we must spend time with him. Often times, I will put on some good Christian music and just relax and focus on the words as I listen. Then next, I may read the bible for a while, and then spend time praying. After that, I may listen to some music again or do all three at the same time. I just take time to focus on God and in doing this I feed my spirit. That’s what works for me; sometimes I am able to spend an entire day seeking God in this way. I am always filled to overflowing when I get finished.
