and watch things happen, God answeres prayers. We never give up praying for teenagers. This generation of youth is being gripped by more destructive things than ever before, thats why our prayers are so important for the next generation of youth.
What an awesome call of God to allow us to pray for the youth of our nation,as well as around the world. Our prayer sponsors receive requests relating to all kinds of issues that these young people are faced with everyday. Abuse, cutting, drugs, sex, alcohol, divorce, broken relations ( or " relationships"), lonliness, abandonment and anger are just a few of the subjects that we have received requests for. God is faithful to answer our prayers for the children who are bold enough to share with us. Every submission to our site is done by gender matching. Only women view the girls requests and men handle the guys also.
I am the founder of www.PrayerForYouth.com and I am so glad I followed the prompting that God placed within my heart. One night about two years ago while witnessing downtown at a local movie theater to teenagers, I heard the still small voice of the Lord. "Start a web site where youth can enter prayer requests." I just allowed the thought to retreat in my spirit some where. Two years later the Holy Spirit said NOW! That night, I began to build my first website ever " Prayer For Youth" . I was amazed to find that the domain name was available for the taking. Once the site was published to the world wide web, the Spirit spoke again and I was directed to begin to write daily devotions for teens. We now have many teens who receive our daily devotions in their e mail everyday. I am amazed and in awe at how God works. You see I am 45 years old and when I was 17, I was called out from an audience during a church service by the pastor. He spoke a prophecy over my life " You will be involved in youth ministry on a large scale." Here I am 28 years later with a ministry that reaches youth all over the world; you can't get much larger than that.
Our ministry is steadly growing with top rankings with the search engines and amazingly, we have not done any online advertising at all. Youth are beginning to add us to their favorites and revisiting the site often. God is answering prayer and expanding our ideas for reaching kids all around the world. It all started with one God given thought "start a website where prayers for teens make a difference in youg peoples lives."
